A BETTER ME 1
Hi amazing blog fam, hope you guys have been great. Keep striving and aiming high everything will fall in place.

I’m starting a series titled ‘A BETTER ME’ which will be addressing critical progress hindrances and adequate solutions. I really hope you keep a date with me every Tuesdays and Fridays for amazing tips and short stories that will inspire and motivate you.
Do you feel like you worry too much about every little thing that happens in your life? Are you so concerned that your worries will happen that you don’t live your life to the fullest?
‘’The happiest people take a long-term view of life rather than allowing themselves to be caught up in the turmoil and details of each day.’’
They take things one day at a time. They teach themselves how to stop worrying by practicing a greater degree of detachment and thereby keep themselves calm and relaxed in the face of life’s little ups and downs.
How to Stop Worrying
You start living better by making a decision today to let go of problems and irritations that occurred in the past that you can do nothing about.
Decide to forgive and forget anybody who has hurt you in any way. Keep your attention focused on the future and where you are going, rather than on the past and who was to blame.
‘’ Life is too short and you need to love yourself.’’
Two monks were returning to the monastery in the evening. It had rained and there were puddles of water on the road sides. At one place a beautiful young woman was standing unable to walk across because of a puddle of water. The elder of the two monks went up to her lifted her and left her on the other side of the road, and continued his way to the monastery.
In the evening the younger monk came to the elder monk and said, “Sir, as monks, we cannot touch a woman?”
The elder monk answered “yes, brother”.
Then the younger monk asks again, “but then Sir, how is that you lifted that woman on the roadside?”
The elder monk smiled at him and told him” I left her on the other side of the road, but you are still carrying her.”
Most of us really act like the younger monk we keep worrying about the problems that we neglect the way forward and opportunities that is available.
‘’We can never see the finish line looking backwards during a race’’- Adetule Moses
We can’t continue to focus on the darkness in the tunnel neglecting the light that is beyond it. Worrying will not let you see the way forward it will just make you dwell on the past.
In the midst of this recession, Always find opportunities and when you do chase it with all you have got.
Kindly comment and share. Watch out for other amazing parts of this series.
